Oprah Winfrey reunited the cast of the most popular music of all time, The Sound Of Music, on her show today.  If you’re a woman of a certain age, or the mother of a woman of certain age, you probably swooned when Liesl (Charmian Carr) and Friedrich (Nicholas Hammond) sang “Sixteen Going on Seventeen”.  Or how about when Captain Von Trapp (Christopher Plummer) finally dumped the bitchy Baroness and declared his love for Maria (Julie Andrews)?  It’s one of the few movies I can watch over and over again because as old as I get, I always end up feeling like a little girl and it always amazes me that it’s popularity has stood the test of time.  Were you a fan of the movie?  What was your favorite song?
